The Sennheiser challenge is over. idk won.

Quarter and semi-finals
On one side of the bracket everything went as expected. Power gaming and TCM-gaming beat Blight and Broder with relative ease, as expected. The semi-finals between these 2 giants was tight as always. In the end, TCM won by a small margin on cp_freight, and they could proceed to the finals.

The other half went different. www could not field a full team, so FB got a bye. idk? had to face team Dignitas, the undisputed #1. No-one expected this, but idk? came out strong, and won the match. After beating Dignitas, idk went on to roll FB. What could stop a team that had just beaten Dignitas?

Finals
The finals: idk versus TCM. idk as underdog, TCM recently won the ASRock challenge and the EMS finals.

First map of choice was cp_badlands. This really went back and forth. In the end, idk managed to secure a 4-3 lead with 1 minute on the clock. Thinking they had won, they stepped down their play. TCM took advantage of that, and pulled off a huge push, to make the score a tie: 4-4. The following golden cap went back and forth a bit, but idk? were the best, winning them the map.

Second map was cp_granary. idk started strong, by pushing TCM off the field. After that, TCM decided to get a move on, and they scored 5 points without idk? being able to do much against it. Were our underdogs exhausted from these tiring games? Perhaps.

Both teams won one map, that means a decider map. This map was cp_gullywash. idk immediately looked strong, though TCM was equally strong. Caps were going back and forth once again. In the end, idk put the score at 4-2 with 2 minutes to go. At that point their demoman, Extremer, had about 5 dominations. There was no way TCM could catch up any more in 2 minutes. They capped the final point once more, making the final score 4-3.

If someone told you yesterday that idk would be winning this, he would have called you crazy. But they went and did just that. Congratulations to I don't Know for winning the Sennheiser Challenge. They will receive €500.
