Even though the tournament was moved for a week because of the new zblock update, everything went well with no significant problems. We saw some really good names from European CS: Source scene like OX. Enermax, Low Land Lions, teamE, thrice. However, Austrian team GUMMI came out victorious out of this tournament and they will be rewarded with £500.

Final match was played in Best Of Three format. GUMMI managed to top their opponents, 2:1 in overall score. This is the second consecutive cup won by Austrians as they already took Cyborg Challenge CSS few weeks ago. Team GUMMI was formed after they left their previous organisation Team Bavarian Heaven (TBH. ASUS). They will be competing in the next season of Alpen EPS and they should be one of the contenders for the title.

We'd like to thank our sponsor ASUS for the support and everyone who participated for the support!

We are aware of the problem causing crashes since the last update when players perform the "+use" action.

We look forward to get this fixed over the weekend. In the meantime, please remove 4.5 RC2 from your servers.

We apologize to anyone affected.

This means we will move the cup 1 week from now!

SAPPHIRE EURO CHALLENGE FINISHED !

In the final of the Sapphire EURO Challenge for CSS we saw eXelon.academy and Phrozen, both from Finland going head to head in a 3 mapper.

Phrozen took the first map, de_train, by 16-11 but eXelon didn't give up and pulled back on de_nuke winning the map 16_10. eXelon carried the momentum in map third and final map de_inferno. After a close game going back and forward eXelon took the map 16-13 and thus claiming the Sapphire EURO Challenge victory!

We'd like to thank the participants for attending and ofcourse a big thanks to Sapphire to sponsor another CSS cup!
