Z-Partio wins a tense battle on White Pass to become the first BC2 One Night Wonders Cup winners!

Congratulations to the winners and commiserations to Epsilon eSports. I'd like to thank everyone who played our first BC2 nightcup. Some valuable and important experience was gained and we hope to include some of your suggestions in our revised ruleset for the next tournament which I will announce soon.

It was interesting to see a 6v6 tournament in Conquest mode, and I would urge you to give all your important feedback via the forums link above.

Thanks,
nKM

EDIT - Brackets are up!

Please post your server and contact details in the match comms and idle on #esportsheaven on Quakenet

Any disputes, questions or queries, please go to:

IRC: #esportsheaven on Quakenet where you will find admins available to help.

The final map will be White Pass instead of Panama Canal based on feedback received from participating teams.

Finally, there are only a couple of slots left for ONW #1 for BC2 so if your team is interested, read the rules and get signed up!

PS: Don't forget your GUIDs!

Thanks,
nKM

There's a number of ways to get your GUID:-

Go to irc.quakenet.org and join #bfbc2.wars
Type !myguid nickname
Press enter and wait guid to show up.

OR

1. Create/edit a file called pbcl.cfg in the PB folder in your BC2 installation and place the following in the file:
pb_LogToFile 1
2. Join a pb-enabled server
3. This will create a pbcl.log file in the pb folder which will then give you your guid:
[02.13.2010 15:48:00] PB Server assigned guid = *****************************

Final map choice (4 comments)

Numerous teams have suggested opting for White Pass as a map for the final instead of Panama Canal due to the size of the map. As always, we would like to accept feedback on the tournament and improve where we can. Please let us know via the forums.
